Scholarships and Grants
Our Family for Families First strives to support the educational goals of spouses and children of our active duty Soldiers. Persons eligible for the grants and scholarships offered by Our Family for Families First include:

Family Members of Active-Duty Soldiers
  • Child
  • Spouse
Soldiers must be assigned to one of the following installations as his or her permanent duty station:
  • Fort Meade
  • Fort Bragg
  • Fort Polk
  • Fort Rucker
  • Fort Riley


Soldiers and family members do not have to reside in Picerne Military Housing homes.


4-Year $40,000 Scholarships
  • Open to graduating high-school students
  • 4-Year university or college
  • $10,000 per year for 4 years

  • Community or technical college or a university
  • $5,000 one-time award
